Shingles Vaccine

If you are Aged 70 years or Aged 78/79 years, you are eligible for Shingles Vaccine.  This can be given with your Flu Vaccine.

Whooping Cough Vaccination for Pregnant Women

If you are pregnant you should get vaccinated to protect your baby. The best time to get vaccinated is between weeks 16 and 32 of your pregnancy. Please contact reception on 0844 477 3513 / 028 80440500 to make an appointment with the practice nurse.

Flu vaccine October /Nov clinics and opportunistically until end of March 2017, it is recommended to have the vaccine as early as possible.

When We Are Closed

closed_signOut of Hours care is between 6:00pm and 8:30am, Monday to Friday and at weekends.

A receptionist in the emergency call centre will answer your call. They will either:

  1. Arrange for you to speak to a doctor or nurse
  2. Invite you to attend the centre to be seen by the doctor
  3. Arrange a home visit if you are too ill to visit the centre.

This service is provided by the Western Health and Social Services Board through Western Urgent Care. Details of all contacts you have with this service are downloaded to the practice each morning.

In serious Emergencies Dial 999 for an Ambulance. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
